What's new in Kippy.
Every release, and what it changed for the people using it.
-
1.0.4
Kippy on the App Store, and for the first time on Android.
- Forward the advance, and it's on everyone's phone. Send Kippy an advance email, a hotel or flight confirmation, a spreadsheet or a photo of a day sheet. Check what it found, and it lands on the right day for everyone who should see it.
- Kippy Plus and Kippy Pro, inside the app. Plus ($9.99 a month) is for crew, with your network, jobs, invoices and an organization of your own. Pro ($24.99 a month) is for the people who run tours and bring a crew in. Both can be paid monthly or yearly in the app, and a subscription you already had carries over as Pro.
- Your invitation finds you. Install the app, sign up with the address you were invited at, and the invitation is waiting on your first screen. No need to dig out the email.
- Kippy on Android. The same app, on Android phones as well as iPhone, signed in to the same account.
- One Kippy, everywhere you open it. The app reads the same organizations and schedules as app.usekippy.com, so a change made on one is there on the other.
- Crew still join free. Anyone invited to an organization can read its schedule, open shared documents and request guestlist spots without paying.
-
1.0.3
The release for iPhone and the web.
- Upgrade without leaving the app. A subscription can now be started inside the iPhone app.
- Your day, built from what you forward. Send an email, a spreadsheet, a PDF or a photo of a day sheet, and Kippy lays the venue, hotel, travel and run of show onto the right day as cards you can edit.
- Work shared inside your own circle. Post an opening to the people you have actually worked with, and decide whether they can pass it on. It is your network, not a public board.
- Crew join free. Anyone invited to an organization can read its schedule without paying.
Kippy reached 1.0 in May 2026. This page starts at 1.0.3 rather than reconstructing the versions before it. An honest record from here is worth more than a rebuilt one. Something you were expecting missing? Let us know.
